Faith can be tricky!

So many times we hear the term “believe it and receive it”. Although I agree that there is a level truth to that statement, we must 1st get a clear understanding about how God feels about a situation. 1 John tells us that if we ask anything according to God's will, He hears us & answers. Many times we give God our own agenda or a list of tasks and then demand, decree, declare, pout, scream, cry, holler, wallow or command that he does it. However, Let's be wise. It is important to search the scripture and find out what God's word says concerning your situation. Then seek God in prayer to find out what His will is concerning the matter. Stay humble & through prayer and thanksgiving, tell God your requests and desires. Then let him know that ultimately you agree with his will! Praise God, trust him and remain at peace. Once you’ve received a word from God, claim it, declare it and continue to stand on His word. You don’t have to force it, just wait for it! Forcing it is like arm wrestling with God. It only brings frustration & tires you out. Never forget that faith requires action and understand that things take time. A good father always prepares you for the blessing. The preparation may not be easy, but it’s always worth it! So hang in there you & keep the faith! You’ve got this!
